Find the cost of freedom - Found

Documenting my friends fathers funeral. I wasn't sure about intruding with a camera, but later my friend said he was going to ask me to bring it but thought it would be presumptuous. His father was a Marine and so I expected the usual fat old guys from the VFW to be there. I didn't know he was a retired full colonel and would be receiving full military honors.

It was an f-22 day and the yellow filter was quite unnecessary, rendering the light blue trousers very close to the navy blue tunics. Contrast lowered and slightly lightened for posting. I have eliminated any family, etc.

The family reaction has been gratifying, but I really am unable to judge my own work. Your criticism is desired.

Thank you for the picture of Fort Logan National Cemetery. I retired from the Army in 1977 and moved to Denver. I have been to Fort Logan many times when people I have known for many years were being laid to rest. I have never taken any pictures there yet though. I really like what you have done with this. The composition of the headstones is wonderful and that is what gets my attention the most. Thank you again for posting this, John.
