This could have been really good had you used a GND filter to open up the foreground. It might be salvaged by a good deal of dodging or a a significant crop. Remember, not one part of this kind of picture should be left to chance...it's all of a piece and every inch matters.

Thanks for your comment. I wanted to see how the images looked on screen. Lacking a scanner, I took an image with an iPad, mailed it to reduce the size and then uploaded it. It is, as you pointed out, a poor version of the print. In a few weeks I'll be back and look for a way to post these images true to the original.
