Just a thought. When photographing scenes like you do and I shoot a lot in southwest Florida, maybe burning in the corners slightly would enhance the photo more. Not that they need it, but I found that it does draw the persons it into the photo. Just something I do which Helps my photos. I checked all your work and it is outstanding. keep it up

Thanks, michael. I often do just what you suggest when making an actual print, but this is a scan with minimal ps. The other thing, with this photograph, is that the sun is such a strong focal point that I'm not sure doing anything else is a good idea. But, it's something to think about.

This one is interesting in that the sand patterns are mirrored in the cloud patterns. Whenever I look at pictures, I almost always look to see if cropping would help them, and with yours, it seems you always nail the essence of what was there, exactly right. I did find if the main clouds were cropped out that it brought more attention to the sand ripples and the picture had less duality, but I also realize that you probably already looked at that, and you decided against it. I get the duality of this picture with the sand and clouds mirroring each other as well as the suns doing it also, but I'm still liking my crop idea but realize it's then a different picture.

Thanks for the comment, Michael. Yes, a different picture is indeed possible here. Photographs are usually presented as a series, and more attention to the sand would have been one that I would have included. But, as soon as there's more than one, viewers nearly always decide they like one better than another or one in particular out of a group. So...I usually leave it at one.
