Thanks. The amazing thing about this place - actually called the "western range" on the fountains abbey site, is that it is 12th century - started construction in 1160 to replace an even earlier building. It was a living quarters. Over the years it must have been photographed many times from the spot I was standing on. My shadow really is the ghost of photographers past!, or in a slightly different sense, photographers passed.
