Printed using 3-4 year old MG developer that I inherited when I bought my darkroom kit. (newer stuff ran out) Stored in brimmed HDPE brown bottle - still works!!
It's ok. But it strongly feels like lost opportunity. Probably not your fault but still. The fisherman is just too obscured to make this work well. Sometimes it maddening when we have all the elements set up but one part just won't or can't join the program. This is one of those times. Some people will probably say that it add mystery but to me it just screams of lost opportunity. It's like when your dog or your kid looks so damn cute so you grab your camera and shit, the moment is gone.
All in all I think it's cool given the lighting constraints. The line of the dark rocks at the upper left leads my (dodgy) eyes to the fisherman. I have a quite accomplished watercolorist friend who will put up a painting maybe 18x28 inches full of trees, rocks and outdoor bits carrying a title like "Red Bird." You have to almost go over the painting with a magnifier to notice that somewhere on a tree branch off toward one side is a red bird. So it could be considered a trick to get people to study the piece!
