Shot yesterday at my local beach. There is a manmade tidal paddling pool on the beach, when the tide has gone out the gulls prowl the shallow water looking for easy pickings left behind by the receding tide. They paddle backwards and when the see a fish they will suddenly pounce up, over and down into the water to grab their prey. I managed to catch this guy as he leapt.
Thanks Gents. Mick, yes I was on the 400mm mark. I also cropped this out of a slightly larger neg, hence the grainy and slightly blurred appearance, but I quite like that.
