Looking from the rest stop along Route 15 outside Emmitsburg, Maryland, about 15 miles south of Gettysburg, PA. If you look carefully you can see two church steeples in the middle background.
I really like the almost monochrome colour rendition Scott and the way the curve of the river draws the eye into the picture and although I freely admit to being the worlds worst landscape photographer I can still appreciate you're excellent work, congratulations, well done.
I was coming back from York after buying a Jobo Mistral film drying cabinet through craigslist. It's more or less kinda sorta my old backyard - I grew up in Chambersburg.
Chambersburg area is beautiful. We go to cowans gap every summer to hike and swim, and Ive taken a lot of great photos around st. Thomas and Williamson.

We used to go up there every summer when I was a kid. We even rented one of the cabins in the park near the lake. And someone in my church youth group had a cabin (well, actually pretty large house with about four bedrooms) a couple miles down the road from the lake where the youth group would do a wintertime retreat. We had about 25 kids plus five or six adults staying there for a weekend. A bit crazy.
