yes, so soft and welcoming. i love many things about this, but the textures captivate me most, and the fact that you can see those two trails leading up off the road on the left hand side of the image...brilliant!

Those trails lead deep into the bamboo forest for harvesting takenoko (baby bamboo shoots) in the Spring. Very easy to get lost!
