Very well seen and photographed - the long shadows are in particular impressive - but even without them it would be great with the light and the sport action captured so good.

Love the framing here, and the Dude at the front is the only sensible one here

The light was great this day and I was looking for different ways to capture the shadows of the riders on the track.Sat at one end of the track and pre-focused the 300mm on the finish line and fired off several shots each time the riders came around. Even with the motordrive on the F3, most shots were not usable. Sports photography took a lot more timing and patience in the days before autofocus and digital. The lead rider in blue is actually a girl, maybe 18 or 19. This is a mixed race, and even though they're still being paced, a few of the guys further back look to be hurting a bit!

Thanks! I looked back at the original slide and realized this was actually Sensia 200, not Provia. As I recall it was a bit cheaper than Provia, although Fuji discontinued it awhile ago.
