Excellent composition and exposure. Great story teller. Very emotional. Well done. This is one of those pictures where I think, "They got it!" All elements come together to create a story that lives with you after the picture is gone from the screen.

Thank you very much, I saw this scene happen and rushed over with my Nikon the 85 was the only lens I had on it at the time everything else was in the car and right after I took the shot the old man turned around and the scene was gone.

This one tugs hard. I saw this more times and with more people than I ever want to remember. After the years of progressive dementia with my mom mercifully came to an end, I am now slowly wading through her estate as trustee. I know this scene. I know this endgame. I can close my eyes and feel it. I also now know what I must fear...
