Lovely photo. It's interesting that you mention 'camera club rules'. I've accumulated a small collection of prints from estate auctions, camera club prints from (mostly) Wisconsin and Minnesota and northern Indiana. I go through them occasionally; it's fun to see how carefully everyone followed "the rules" back in the late '50s and early '60s. Your photograph, I have to say, would likely have lost every composition due to your flagrant violation of "the rules", despite being a better photograph in every way.
