LOOK what's written on the pavement: Gerrie Knetemann !!!!! my hero and the funniest cyclist ever, worldchampion in '78 he lives forever; the opposite of that other guy L.A. you've been standing at a Dutch spot; all the names on the pavement are famous Dutch cyclist. Nice pictures too !

^ The last time I saw Knetemann was in 1985 when Gerrie won the Amstel Gold Race. Yes, he was such a nice and friendly guy.

A sport in which the fans enjoy themselves without wanting to make enemies. It's serious but always friendly. You have captured this well. I found "Fall from Grace" by Freddy Maertens translated into English was worth reading. He was a memorable character from the 1970s
