1st VanDyke Brown Print

I finally got around to trying VDB last night. I know that I need to work on coating the paper and exposure, but I am excited with the results from my first print.

Congratulations Jim, boy are you in for it now...just wait, next it will plt/pld...then you will be in for it (along with that nice new BIG camera  )

Very nicely done, especially for a first attempt. I would have to say it is "just right" as you have printed it. Looks like you will be doing a lot more, if this is a sample of things to come. Oh, nice image as well. tim

Looks great! as has been said, perfect suject for the process! Enjoy!

Way to go! Keep them coming. Van Dyke is one of those methods I'll get into one of these days. This is inpirational!

Very nice Jim, and exciting for you

Wow! I've never seen one of these. It has a very 3 dimentional quality to it. On my monitor it has an almost holographic look to it.
