The long exposure has encouraged the camera to deceive with the apparent calmness from the rough conditions which really existed.

I am hopeful for the HP5 sheets. Bill, I think that you would love the Dorset coastline. I was aware that these were conditions in which you would thrive. So in fact I am glad you weren't there, to knock spots off what I managed!!! Looking forward to seeing your Scotland images.

Murray - Skills such as Cloud shifting and Limpet training are all the remit of the dedicated landscaper and are not part of the syllabus on many workshops. Might be a niche earner here!

Lovely. Not to take anything away from Baxter's fine fine image, but I too could see Bill do this scene justice.

Baxter, It is a very beautiful shot and I would have been proud to have made it. You know how I love searching out the coastlines! I have worked along the south coast near Eastborne and the White Cliffs back in '94 and had thought to return later this year to visit family and go back. But now I'm getting this thing for the great piers... Llandudno, Blackpool... I remember visiting some of them as a child. I may be back soon! Again... great image.
