1924, Dad on a Model T.

Found this in a box of old family negatives. There's a Locomobile, Simplex, Mercer dealership, & a 1917 Pierce-Arrow, in the background.
Location
Probably South Figueroa in Los Angeles.

A great find and needs to be kept. Too often family history becomes important to us long after we have lost or thrown out the artefacts of such history

I don't see the Locomobile et al but a phantom truck driving by !!! Superb.

Nice piece of family history! Maybe you can make a Salt Print from this image?

Might be a Kodak folder pocket cam. Exposure looks to be 1/10 to 1/25 in daylight, how big a negative?

It's a 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch negative. I also figured the shutter had to be a slow, 1/10 or 1/25, judging by the blur of that truck in the background. The year might be 1923; it's hard to tell. My Dad was born Jan 1921, and he looks to be 2 or 3 years old.

Nice photo.Makes me wonder if any of my FIL's cars came from that dealer.
