The finger hold seals it for me. And I like that an apparent subtle edge-burn (or lens fall-off?) places the two into an equally subtle halo of light.

It really doesn't work for me. It seems too set up, like they were told to stand there and look at each other. As for the tones in the picture they are stunning.
