The raw material you are working with (the stump) has some potential, but the print as it sits does absolutely nothing for me.

The composition is a bit static, however you could do a lot to improve it with some darkroom work to pull the attention to the stump and and highlight the detail in the ice.

Thanks for the comment... I think your point is well takened. I am going through this phase of printing without cropping.... So, I'll take your comment as a need to better "see" in the field and use the camera better.
