I think it is the slat missing on the tower which makes the shot, not the sign! But seriously Ria, a wonderful shot with nice balance and the sign does help. Still one of my favorites you have taken. tim

I like the contrast of the building against the background. I'm not sure about the sign though. If you take it out, something is definitely lost. But, it leaves me wondering what the "No Trucks" is supposed to be about.

I like this image because of the contrast between the structure and the background - how it makes the church really stand out - and the asymmetry - one tower instead of two. I would have tried to crop off the sign though, but that's just me. Overall, a simple and nice composition.

It's the Light! The building simply jumps out from the background. I like the missing slat from the steeple too.
