A Boy and His Hand Built Boat II

Acquired an old Polaroid camera from my mom last month, so decided to give the Impossible Project film a try. Managed to fog several of them, but figured a way to keep light away, and was happy with these.

I like this one the best. All dressed up and nowhere to go. Where's the water??

Just curious. Were they his hands?

And after trying it, would you buy more Impossible?

I like this one too. I have a love/hate relationship with IP films -- quality, stability, consistency leave a lot to be desired. I think it's getting better, and I've gotten more than a few keepers. This one is a keeper.

To answer your question, Ken, yes... and yes! He built this boat last week at camp, and we had to let the paint fully dry, so had it outside on the back patio, but he and my husband were finally able to get it out on the water for her maiden voyage yesterday, which was a success, despite a tiny leak which left their shorts all wet! And I like the Impossible film, though I expect, like bvy, it will be a love/hate thing. When you nail it, looks sweet, but I can see that it may be inconsistent, and had I read the insert, I might not have fogged so many, but you can learn the easy way or (like me) the hard way! That said, I'm afraid I may be heading down the rabbit hole, picked up an SX-70 yesterday, would like to have a bit more control over the focus.
