"Too much sun" is right my friend! Can you bring anymore detail into the sand? At first, I was thinking it was snow!

Thanks for comments thus far. As to detail in the sand, it's barely perceptible in the print because it is extremely fine. The exposure, as I recall, placed a portion of tree bark in zone V. There is some texture of sand in the print, but it just won't 'pick up' in the scan.

In my opinion, you have it just right! There is a mystery to it when first viewing it. Then my eyes take an exciting trip around and through the image exploring the texture and shadow. My compliments for seeing the image then capturing it on film. Great job!

This popped up in random , I like this a lot ,I would sugest doing away with any textures in white sand ...
