The Frigid Flame

As many of you know, the house that I own (that, to be clear, I had been in the process of moving out of shortly before) was lit on fire a few months back, the police suspect it was a drugged out person who was breaking into homes, setting fires to stay warm in his drugged up state not thinking the fire would spread. It happened to a few houses in the neighborhood that night. I had a lot of memories there, many of my things that were important were NOT in the house, and I'm very thankful of that, but the loss of the memories live on. It was very smokey inside and I only had time to take a few snaps with my digital and wanted a few in B&W film, it seems to emote the loss of my scattered life in this moment best. The ice is the leftover frozen water from the fire hoses.
