HP5+ @ EI3200 in Rodinal 1+25.

I saw some discussion on shooting HP5+ at IE3200 and most opinion seemed to agree it should be developed in either DDX or Microphen for the best results. I decided to see what would happen if I developed in Rodinal at a dilution of 1+25. I'm quite pleased with the results.
This is my cat, Tigger, completely ignoring the idiot with the camera because his dinner was being prepared in the kitchen!

I take it that this is at EI 3200. I had heard HP5+ was capable of being shot at 3200 but this looks as good Delta 3200. If HP5+ can give you this, I may not bother again with D3200. At f11 I'd have thought the DoF would have been greater but the DoF is tiny. This plus side-on V marking on cheek leads straight to the eye and its direction. My next camera will have to have a DoF preview button.
Nice one

You're absolutely right. I have noted the wrong exposure. I just checked my notes and it was 1/125 @ f/4, I read the exposure for the previous shot on the roll, which was outdoors in daylight.

Great work Andy! Love the shot as just an image, and I like what you got out of this film, and my favourite dev! I have to try this - no word of a lie, this is probably the first time I saw HP5+ and liked the way it looked this much!
