Looks good, Vincent but had I not known it was sepia and selenium toned I might have assumed it was a straight print. The differences must be subtle. How does this vary from a straight print?I think I can see a depth of colour created by the selenium but I may just be rationalising from knowing that selenium was used. I think I see a hint of brown as well but again this may be what I expect having read that sepia was usedThanks
I'm lucky to have a print of this and very nice it is too! As good as the scan is, the actual print does 'shimmer' which is helped by the toning. If I move it around in different light and shade it takes on subtle changes in tone which works really well.
