This kind of images are the reason why I prefer B&W to color. When printed I would us grade 4 - I often like contrast in B&W. I like the simplicity of the subjects (not meant negative!!) in your images. I especially liked your image "on the walkalator". http://www.apug.org/gallery1/showimage.php?i=65984&c=2 . hello bert. thanks for your observations and suggestions. yes, i'm familiar with bresson, and in fact i was waiting for a bressonesque moment here...i would have loved a figure to show up somewhere along the stairs, but alas, after waiting about 5 minutes or so, i decided to press the shutter and move on. cheers!
