Haa yes it was in fact 1980, and the "model" is the one who came up with the concept, she was attending Otis Art Institute at the time, studying photography...

I'm confused by the focus and sharpness of this image, the bokeh doesn't seem normal and the subject seems "over-sharpened" but in that old fashioned print way... because this is probably a print... but you didn't give details so I'm wondering what type of image this is and how it was made if you don't mind sharing Bill. It's really interesting.
