I like this print there are some lovely deep blacks in it, I like the way it's composed and the boy has that bored expression that teenagers usually have. well done. My eldest son is called Simon too and believe it or not it's his birthday today.

Hard to get them to pose in front of any camera at that age, let alone a 5x4! Excellent light and very good differential focus make for a top image. As Benjiboy has said, the bored expression is mandatory

Buy him Ozzy Osbourne Randy Rhoads Tribute album , he looks like black hair Randy. I listens that album every week for last 28 years.

Great portrait. I bet he's a great kid too. The only negative for me is the black blotch on the poster just left of this head.
