On Jekyll Island, Georgia, fallen trees litter an area called Driftwood Beach. It's a misnomer as the wood didn't drift here at all, but lies close to where it once stood. That these two trees remain standing in the sandy soil seems improbable, but....well....here they are!
LOL, H My mojo is only visiting, but I'm hoping I can lure it back for good. Thank you aj, Thomas and ak...I was really happy that the shadows were so strong. Thank you, Bertus. Ilya, thanks, but you'll just have to wait a few more weeks for better weather. Btw, there were at least a dozen people playing frizbee in the water. Hehehe....what winter??
r, In the summer, the choice is between bake or broil. As much as I am relieved not to be awash in NY snow (I gave our snowblower to a colleague when we moved here last August), I end up hibernating here in the summer. However, it must be said that though heat and humidity are dreadful, they don't need to be shoveled.
I am a recent transplant to the north country from Texas and know the bake or broil summers well. Looks like I will be shoveling snow again in the morning. Oh well...Hope your able to get a darkroom up and running. Summer would be a great time for that. Robert
