This is a lovely, elegant image that brings a much needed hint of spring after a particularly difficult winter.I particularly like the shadow beneath the globe. It enhances the subject.

Bruce: Like overall, but I was particularly struck by the lighting on the background and the shadow under the vase. Well done!

Thanks all, the lighting was achieved with a 100 watt bulb in an aluminum reflector hanging directly over the vase. The "shafting" light was simply a sag in the blue background and the red 25A.
