Just after this picture I had been approached by one of the guys not to take unauthorized pictures of him. He demanded to get my camera. It took me 15 minutes to talk me out of the situation.
People are getting, let's say contradictory these days. On one hand they shruggingly accept to be controlled by authorities wherever they go and whatever they do. OTOH they threaten you with drubbing for taking pictures where they barely could be recognized.

Great composition and great printing. Where was this picture taken? Laws are different in different countries.

about your encounter...probably too late now, but it might have been worthwhile to get his contact information and send him a copy of the image. that way, at least he would have been able to see with his own two eyes how his concern was outsized compared to his silhouette...wonderful shot, btw!
