This is a very striking image. I'd like to know more about the photograph. I'm going to need a really short tripod.

It was taken with a Rollei TLR and the appropriate Rolleinar (2, I think) It was late in the day and rather low light, although it was open to the sky. I placed the camera on the ground, on a wobbly piece of foam, and let the self-timer fire the shutter. 1-Sec Exposure Tri-x + HC110:B

Thanks for the information. This is the type of close-up I'm working toward. The Horseman 970 (6X9cm) kit I'm putting together may work better than my Linhof Technika V for such close work. I have a Monfrotto tripod that has been modified with really short legs as well as its angled settings to get pretty close to the ground. I'm not as flexible as I once was.
