I'm not familiar with the Toyo 810G but I'm assuming that it is an 8X10 and the negative you scanned in was therefor an 8X10. I believe you were using a Rodenstock Ronar lens and you really had it focused sharp. I really like your lighting and placement of the highlights. I like the feel of the image and think this is a very excellent composition and photo. Thanks for including in your gallery.
Thank you, ansaldo49, for contributing a comment. Yes, the Toyo 810G is an 8x10 monorail (studio) view camera. And, of course, the negative was an 8x10 negative. I actually scanned the 8x10 contact print (vs. scanning in the neg).
I really love this, the lighting, silhouette with a hint of dimension. At first I thought her wrists were tied, but realized it was her knuckles gripping, though I thjbk the tied wrist would envoke a completely different emotion and reaction, interesting how a subtle detail can change a photo. Anyway, well done!
