You'd almost think so, wouldn't you? I'm pretty sure his hat cost more than two dollars. :smile:

Ya, those are wrinkles. The really good hats have them like that. :smile:Thanks, I've been trying to tame the natural wide-open mushiness of the Paragon.
 
Agreed, Bob. This is simpler and more elegant. In both shots, the point was to manipulate the plane of focus to get as much in focus as possible without stopping down. The props just give me a chance to play with storytelling at the same time. Later I'll post a third shot in which I tilted the lens board away from the focal plane so as to minimize the focus.
