This sure is one of my favorites. To me it has a Zen quality that I like very much and the footprints are a crowning achievement. Almost like you meant it to be.....

This is really top notch John. I often go to extremes to try to keep my footprints out of a photo, but lately have been leaving them in...nice to record ones passage through the world.

Thank you all very much for your kind comments. A bunch of years ago, I took a workshop with Mark Klett that influenced my thinking about what to leave in or out of a photograph. He looked at a print I showed him and asked if the white object at the bottom of the image was a coffee cup. I answered that, no, it wasn't, but I'd be sure to burn it down heavily next time I printed it. He was disappointed that I'd do that. He preferred to be brutally honest about whatever was in the frame. No 'healing brush' for him, nor for me either since then.
