Fireflies - Negative overlay

There is a sweet
and haunted tune
deep in the forest
at the darkest hour.
She is the voice
of the fireflies
and every glorious
lighted display
in every land
is flared to the rhythm
of this distant enchantress.

Negatives sandwiched in the darkroom. I have plans to turn these images into cyanotypes (using an evil modern process that we will not discuss!) which will then be toned and hand painted. For now, though, I thought I would share these :)

First, I love all of your work. Second, I love the way you experiment, and push yourself. Third, You've inspired me to get in the darkroom today.

Thank you all very much for your very nice comments! It's great to share with people who understand how the process works and to hear encouragement from you all really makes my day!!
