6x7cm silver contact print

This print is the first I've made from start to finish with someone else in mind. In this case my girlfriend, Lynn, who made this wire tree for me.

I love this tree, I even decorate it for Christmas. So as a gift I decided to make a photograph for her. She won't get it until Christmas, I'm showing my friends here first... so keep your lips sealed!

I used her black, sparkly bathrobe as a backdrop. The tree had a couple of cobwebs on it which I decided to leave in place for the picture.

#1 is going to Lynn, other prints are available of course though it will not be listed on my website until after she gets hers. =)

Cool! A minimalist Christmas tree!

Thank you. I spent quite a bit of time on this and burned through a fair amount of film. The exposure development was easy but the positioning was very difficult. It's a small tree and stands less than a foot high. I felt like it all really came together when I decided to use the sparkly black robe as the backdrop.
