Tessars are my favourite lenses. Just wondering was this photo primarily a lens test?

This has a very lovely color palette. I agree about that lens, my Rolleiflex T contains the finest lens I own.

I'm not really into testing lenses. I like the tessar and have learned how to get the look I want out of it. I like layering using depth of field, and the tessars and some triplets (like the trioplan) do a great job at making that smooth and pleasant. With too much DOF or distracting bokeh, images like this would get too complex/distracting.
