Trying different things with my small stash of Fomabrom. I like this very grainy and peppery look.
Strong solution of Arista Lith, 1/3rd old brown. A very brief bleach cleared the pewter highlights.

Truly celebrates what one expects of a colliery...gritty, grainy, grungy, and raw. (my long deceased maternal uncles worked in the anthracite coal mines in Pennsylvania from age 12. I've been familiar with coal mines since early childhood.) It's also a really well designed photograph...as usual.
 
This is so pleasing in many, many ways. Symbolism, subject, and all. +1 to all comments above.
