Was it summer light ? Too much bright at the top , I could not understand why rocks glowing like that , it looks like metal. It looks like dolomite , granite to me. Do rocks glow like this under the sun ? My school made from Andesite and I never seen them bright like these ?I liked the picture , I watched Cerro Torre , Scream of the Stone many times , Cerro Torre is a rock which hight is 3000 meters and everything like glass. Hardest to climb rock in the world. Its at Patagonia and %98 of the year is not allowing climbing. First guy made it with 300 pounds gasoline powered drill. !! Drill is still hanging from a rope at the top. They call it compressor route.

It's a mix of end-of-day summer light (bright sky dim ground), and bright orange rocks (high iron content) that makes them render this way.

Thank you jp498. If you havent told me , I would never guess that the rocks in orange color. I would prefer a tighter aperture for DOF. I have a Rollei 35S and I could not reach to 2mp digital quality for 2 years. Our labs are destroying the films , terrible development , high heat stored films , no kodak film anywhere , its a shame.
