Awesome shot. I was like 'wow' you used 100 iso. wonderful detail with the 1+1, and quick shutter. I love a fast lens. Looking at this I was drawn to her toes. The pressure, the pain she probably felt at that pressure point. The focused intent in the move. The shadow elusively revealing more. Lovely.

Tony, the cropping you suggest is extreme but looks really interesting. Great shot - with and without cropping!

I previously uploaded another shot from this series that approaches your great suggestion, but not quite as isolated, and not as interesting a shadow. Thanks for all the kind words. She was a great model to work with, and as I've mentioned before, I really like shooting dance-trained models.

@Greg Heath Thank you. She is one of my favourite collaborative partners. We shot for several years before she retired from modeling, and she's the only person I've ever posed for.
