This is a closeup shot of the war memorial used in an image I recently posted. It is a total experiment--playing with new film plus a developer that I never really use. I liked the way that the stone looks in these closups. Other images came out very flat to me.
I used the Efke at EI=100 and the developing was supposed to be the 10 min/20C recommended on the massive development chart (agitation every 60s). My wife asked me something right when I was going to dump the developer, so it came out as 11 min.
I was very pleased with the way the stone in these walls was rendered. I have some images of another plaque that came out with interesting tones as well. Other images of the quad did not look as good. The contrast within the stone walls, and the contrast between the sandstone and the red tile roofs was low.
