Gene, as usual a wonderful example of excellent portraiture and the art of the Bromoil process. I have to say that when I opened the gallery and saw this portrait I took a journey down memory lane, for Norman was dear friend with whom I spent many happy hours talking photography, exchanging tales and enjoying a glass of the single malt stuff. Thank you so much for sharing this image and for bringing back so many good memories.

This is the kind of image that really looks perfect in Bromoil.

Les, Thanks for your kind comments. Norman was indeed an unforgettable man. He gave me one of his 16 x 20 bromoils, one of his unbleached prints for a matrice and lots of his bromoil books. He asked me to bleach the print for bromoil after he was gone and to ink it up and think of him. So fat I haven't been able to bring myself to do this. I will, however in Norman's memory!
