i love photographs like this ..
so simple, but so perfect in abstract symbolism.
there are abstract+abstract expressionist images all around us
we just have to see them ... and you did !
love this - its a very strange elephant's trunk ( to me anyways! )

Yes, I go to the beach and ignore the geology and biology and my mind sometimes gets overwhelmed with shapes and light and composition if I'm firing on all cylinders. I have to be careful where I walk lest I ruin a photo I haven't seen on the ground yet.

Ah, tide marks...just love 'em, and I have just done a few myself the other day. Get the problem with footprints...if only we could levitate a few inches above the ground!
