Winter Trout Stream

This image was made along a trout stream in eastern Iowa (yes we have some here) that is a little better for pictures than trout this time of year.

I used the 265mm component of a Schneider 150mm convertible with a light yellow filter. Even with N development, the combination of lens, filter and moderate back lighting led the use of G1 Oriental paper. G1 Oriental was a beautiful paper for contrasty negatives, in the days before the VC head.
Location
Brush Creek ,SW of Bellevue IA
Equipment Used
Zone VI 4X5, 150mm Schneider (265mm component)
Film & Developer
Tri-X (N), HC110 (b)

Yellow
Charming: great picture. I'd like to be there.

Very nice, I often use my old fishing spots for subjects.

Lovely and calming. Well done.
