I've always liked the shape and textures of this driftlog. I've been going to French Beach for 30+ years. Many of the big chunks of wood have been on the beach all that time - sometimes half buried in a drift of pebbles, or with smaller bits of wood piled over them. I like the texture brought out by the strong contrast.

Thanks Tony! I printed a brighter one, but this dark one feels stronger.
 
Very nice tones, and a somehow 'masculine' movement. Reminds me of some of Minor White's works.
