Blue Crocus

Beautiful colours, I love crocuses, a nice sign of spring.

Nice. My crocuses all dropped their flowers because of the snowstorm we had this week. Ever since I listened to Joni Mitchell's "Blue" album, I have loved Crocuses.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZurmFcUOJpcTruly, the best album ever.

When we get to this point in the album, I'm hooked. Can't stop here.My Gawd. Joni Mitchell is a towering talent.

My goodness, you must live in New Jersey. I took the exact same picture in my yard last week and could have put the exact same description comment! LOL

Bruce, conventional wisdom seems to favour differential focus to make the flowers stand out more and yet in these two shots, this one seems to show the flowers more clearly and is the one I prefer.It may be helped by the vibrancy of the purple. In fact for oudated 110 film this is a remarkably good print all round
