This is a negative scan. I recently bought a few Lee filters including a Big Stopper. This was the first time I used it.

THIS is the reason I'm saving up for one of those filters (and the reason I'm hoarding my Acros). This is a really lovely photo, Ghostman. Thanks for sharing.

really cool to know about the stopper... was your focus close? mid way, or infinity? Also, what time of day? Also, the few dust specs bug me, like the hair on the middle right side, and the one in the clouds... damn dust, I want to wage war against it! lol great image :smile:
 
Stone, normally I would spot it but I had the films developed and scanned for me. I hate dust and scanning is such a PITA - removing dust even more so. I'd estimate about 16:00 in the afternoon with the sun setting to the west at about 3 'o clock (to the right of the picture). I focussed mid distance. Fuji Acros is wonderful for this kind of picture, it's very smooth and not to everyone's taste. Some people think it looks too digital :-SThanks for the feedback.

Awesome, I assumed it was about that time but thought perhaps it could have also been sunset time. Thanks for the details.
