This tells a wonderful story, Thomas. The little fuzzies lit up at the corner of the chair are the cherries on top of a well constructed composition.

Ilya/Max - agree! That hair is the "thread that binds" per se this stark-person-less-living-room to the actual memory Thomas wishes to impart. It's a sliver of a connection with the space Thomas and family cherish! What a photograph Thomas. Very personal and like all your work, technically brilliant!

Thanks to you all for your thoughtful and insightful comments. I find that it's sometimes difficult to pour my soul onto paper, but I'm very proud of this one, and really hope I can get some darkroom time soon.
