I am working on a series using urban fragments, engineering and design as a metaphor for transformation and the cycle of life, birth, death and rebirth. I love the 6X6 format as it lends itself well to creating a structure of balance and symmetry to hold a certain amount of chaos. I am also exercising technical aspects such as framing and keeping the camera level and plumb. I also enjoy the banality of concrete to demonstrate that life and character are projected. It is what we see.

Thank you for the kind words bvy. The square format sets me frree, I subconsciously see the balance and don't need to think too much about what I am doing. it kind of boxes me in and gives me room to move.

I like the whole series. As was posted on one of your others, it will look great grouped together, and printed large.
