whoa, this is really great, I would have totally blown out the exposure, love the contrast, really great, you love the ocean don't you? Also, you shadowbommed yourself, but at first I didn't even notice, only in analyzing it did I see. Really great.

I really like that. The light and motion are shown well by paying no attention to the color.

This is so good. The abstraction comes as much from the lack of scale as anything. It's obvious that it's water. But it's not so obvious that it might not be a satellite image of a body of water. With a raging forest fire on the western edge of an island. And a strong southwest wind.

But it's none of those. Instead, it's a small wave at Wright's Beach.

That is so cool...

Thanks friends. I know its a strange one. It was one of those days where the conditions at the beach were not what I wanted (no clouds), but i stood on a rock looking down for a while and began to get fascinated with the water's movement and started wondering how to catch it. This was the more dynamic of the 2 I shot.

Very good fascination that resulted in a great image. Excellent timing and composition.
