Another experiment for me...

I rarely ever shoot people, and here I am doing a portrait using an 8x10 and a Portrait EKtar.

It is good to break away from what you normally.

Anyway I enjoy the softness of the image, and the way the narrow dof plays.

This is an incredibly small DoF. It looks as if it is so small that the nostrils and lips are in sharp focus but even the eyes are beginning to lose sharpness. I like the effect on the hair but maybe the eyes would have been the better point of focus. On the other hand it gives the eyes a certain attractive dreaminess.
